Silvestica has acquired the Lithuanian company UAB Musu Miskai from a Swedish consortium. The company owns forest real estate in south eastern Lithuania near the capital Vilnius. The forestry holdings will be managed by a Lithuanian investment company Investiciju partnerai. In 2018, the forests will be certified in accordance with the FSC’s guidelines.

Folksam is now the second company to invest in Silvestica Green Forest AB. The Folksam Group has subscribed for EUR 50 million and is of the opinion that its commitment in forest assets will provide its customers with a good return and that it will contribute to sustainable development.
CRK has hired Roland Persson as CFO and IT Manager for Silvestica and CRK, starting from 1 November. Roland Persson held the same position at Sydved AB. Sydved AB is responsible for the supply of timber to forestry industries in southern Sweden and has a turnover of SEK 3 billion.

CRK has engaged Forest Manager Henrik Söderberg as Silvestica’s forest manager as of 1 August 2017. Henrik Söderberg operates his own business as a forest manager in central Sweden. Henrik Söderberg is responsible for inspections of potential new forest acquisitions and as commissioner of forestry services for Silvestica’s forest holdings.
